This December, Aço Cearense Group held another edition of the "Happy Hugs" campaign. The action is an achievement of Aço Cearense Institute, a non-profit institution, responsible for all social, educational, sport and environmental actions of the Group and aims to bring a little joy to children in situations of social risk, for occasion of the Christmas period. Last year the campaign covered some 300 children and this year there were 400 participants from charities. It was the children themselves who wrote the letters with their wishes and the Aço Cearense Institute collected and made them available on Christmas trees in Aço Cearence Commercial, Aço Cearense Industrial and SINOBRAS.
The first delivery event took place on Thursday (14) in the morning and afternoon at Aço Cearense Commercial, with musical presentation and many smiles from the children of the Escola de Campeões Association, Lar de Clara and CEPEVIVE. The collaborator Flávio Leitão, Commercial Coordinator, was one of the godfathers and commented: "This is one of the most heart touching actions of the Aço Cearense Group. Each participant takes a trip in the time tunnel and finds the memory of their child time. It is refreshing to see these children with their glittering glances waiting for the so dreamed little present. I am sure that God will repay the builders of this idea, blessings and more blessings to all”, he said.
Deliveries were also made on Friday at Aço Cearense Industrial Branch and contemplated children from the Escola de Campeões and Lar de Clara. At SINOBRAS the campaign presented the children of the Association of Visual Artists of Southern and Southeastern Pará (ARMA). At the events, there were musical presentations performed by the children of the attended institutions that thrilled the godfathers and godmothers present.
For Rosemeire Matos, president of Aço Cearense Institute, the actions were the closing of a challenging year. "It is very gratifying to see the satisfaction in the eyes of these children. I am very happy to see the participation of employees, especially those who can not buy a gift alone and join other colleagues to share the value of the present, this is the spirit of solidarity and unity that we want to irrigate our employees. Congratulations on the participation and contribution of all ".
Kelly Vieira, a driver from Aço Cearense Industrial, commented that the campaign is very important to do good and bring joy to the children. "Last year I participated in the Happy Hug and I see the importance of Aço Cearense, a large company, to support this initiative. This is an opportunity for these children not to be forgotten and to participate is very gratifying for both the children and us collaborators. "
Estrutural, an industrial maintenance company based in Fortaleza, also joined the campaign and adopted about 52 letters.
